Halloween is approaching. We decided to curate one of our favorites stylist, so you can get a minimalist Scandinavian halloween decoration at your home.
Amy (homeyohmy.com), a content creator and stylist, gave us tips on how to turn a pumpkin into a decoration and gave a minimalist design touch to your room.
There is no reason why you can’t have cute decoration on Halloween.
She took inspiration from the different forms and designs to create a beautiful pumpkin that can give an excellent halloween vibrant to your room.
1. DIY PATTERNED PUMPKINS
If pumpkins come in white, perhaps Amy will leave it as it is, but it is not. Putting them into your favorites color and adding patterns will turn the pumpkins even more adorable.

2. DIY PAINT SPLATTERED PUMPKINS
She took inspiration from the splattering/speckling designs that she has been seeing a lot on ceramics, particularly the messier and streakier ones where you can sense the force and direction of the splatter.
While the less premeditated the better, this technique takes practice to get those messy but still defined results.
Amy’s definitely recommend practicing on paper before doing this on your pumpkins.

3. DIY MUD CLOTH PUMPKINS
She has for a long time been meaning to do something inspired by mud cloth patterns, when she realized that pumpkins are actually have a great area that she can implemented the pattern to.
Really. Ombre, donut, gold foil, marble, cactus, this, that- put it on a pumpkin, enjoy it, then toss it when it dies.
Easy. Just try it.

4. DIY COPPER STRIPED PUMPKINS
Well, certainly Amy loves pumpkins! She consider that pumpkins is not only delicious and whimsical.

5. DIY GOLD CONFETTI PUMPKINS
Applying gold confetti to pumpkins is something that we can’t figure it out. But, Amy’s, she is not only successful in applying the confetti to pumpkins, but she also can turn it into beautiful decoration.
